Explore each blind style

Think about light and privacy
Compare how the blind opens, closes and adjusts in person.A physical sample helps you check the fabric’s opacity, colour and texture before choosing.

Compare the five styles
Roller blinds offer a simple fabric finish.Venetian blinds give you tilting slats.Vertical blinds suit wider openings.Basswood brings natural wood, while Ecowood offers a synthetic wood-like alternative.

Consider the room conditions
Kitchens and bathrooms need a suitable material.Ecowood is non-absorbent, while natural wood needs more consideration in damp areas.Ask the team to check the best choice for your particular window.

See the colours in person
Screens and room lighting can change how colours appear.Visit our showroom and compare physical samples before placing your order.
Measuring & fitting
A good fit begins with careful measuring.

Decide where the blind will sit
A blind can sit inside the window recess or outside it.Handles, opening windows, tiles and other obstructions can affect which position works best.

Record your window dimensions
For an initial discussion, note the width and height of each window in millimetres and label the room.Take more than one measurement if the opening varies.Do not make manufacturing deductions yourself.

Bring photos or plans
A straight-on photo and a side view of the window can help the team understand the opening, frame and available depth.Include any handles or obstacles.

Confirm before manufacture
Preliminary measurements help start a quote.Arrange final measuring and discuss fitting with PE Blinds before confirming your order. Our team can explain what is required for your chosen blind.
Cleaning & care
Keep your blinds looking their best.

A little regular dusting
Remove dust gently using a soft cloth or a soft vacuum brush on a low setting.Support slats as you clean to avoid bending or twisting them.

Know your material
Natural wood should not be soaked.Fabric cleaning depends on the material and finish. For synthetic or aluminium slats, ask whether a lightly damp cloth is suitable.

Avoid harsh treatments
Do not use abrasive pads, strong chemicals or steam without advice for your specific product.Test any recommended method discreetly first.

Ask before you repair
If a blind is not moving freely, avoid forcing it.Contact the team with the blind type, a description of the problem and a photo if possible.
